DENVER – Just five days after ending his college career as runner-up to the National Champions in 2012, Drew Snider made his MLL debut for the Denver Outlaws and netted a goal in his first professional game.

Snider played four seasons at the University of Maryland, and his professional career has mirrored his college career — continuously getting better one season to the next.
After getting his first college points in his freshman year, Snider was forced to redshirt the following season. He came back for his redshirt sophomore year and scored eight goals and dished for five assists, earning the team’s Dan Snyder Award as the most improved player. His junior year his numbers went up again. He started in 13-of-18 games and recorded 20 points on 17 goals and three assists. As a fifth-year senior, he captained the Terrapins and led them to the National Championship Game. He started in all 18 of the team’s games and had career marks in goals and assists with 24 and seven, respectively.
At the professional level, Snider has continued his tradition of outdoing himself from one season to the next.
As a rookie for the Outlaws in 2012, the Seattle native scored 10 goals. The next season, he tripled that amount, netting 31 goals and earning the 2013 MLL Most Improved Player of the Year Award. Already this year, Snider has 18 goals—tied for 12th in the league in that category—and three hat tricks in his last four games played.
