Team USA vs. Iroquois Nationals
  • Jesse Schwartzman gets the start in goal for USA after missing the last game due to a thumb injury.
  • Lee Zink also starting, and causes an early Iroquois turnover in the first half after initiating a double team.
  • Incredibly athletic stop by Schwartzman against Lyle Thompson early in the 2nd quarter. 
  • Another INCREDIBLE stop by Schwartzman midway through the second quarter. 
  • Schwartzman continuing to be a force to reckon with in goal tonight. 
  • HALFTIME: USA leads Iroquois Nationals 10-0. Schwartzman with three (amazing) saves.
  • Zink, Schwarty and the rest of the USA defense pitched a 42-minute shutout, first Iroquois goal wasn't allowed until early in the third quarter.
  • FINAL: USA 18, Iroquois Nationals 5.
Team Canada vs. Australia
  • Back-to-back goals by Curtis Dickson and Zack Greer gave Canada a 2-1 lead early in the first quarter.
  • Cam Flint scored his first of the night for Canada about midway through the second quarter, to extend Canada's lead to 5-1 over Australia.
  • HALFTIME: Canada 6, Australia 1. Goals for Dickson, Greer and Flint. An assist for Jeremy Noble.
  • Noble got the scoring going in the second half for the Canadians who lead 7-1.
  • FINAL: Canada 12, Australia 4.
Both Team USA and Team Canada earned byes into the semifinal round, which will take place Thursday, July 17.
