Eight Outlaws were invited to play in the 2013 MLL All-Star Game on July 13 at American Legion Memorial Stadium in Charlotte, N.C. Denver tied  Chesapeake for the most All-Star selections in the league. Among the eight players from the undefeated Outlaws selected to this year’s squad are three first-time honorees: Attackman Chris Bocklet, Midfielder Zack Greer, and Midfielder Drew Snider. Each of these players made a successful debut.

Although the Outlaw teammates were divided amongst the two all-star teams, Supernova and Eclipse, it was a close match and a battle to the end. Outlaw players on the Supernova All-Star team included: Chris Bocklet, Anthony Kelly, and Jesse Schwartzman. Players on the Eclipse All-Star team included: Zack Greer, Jeremy Sieverts, Drew Snider, and Lee Zink. Brendan Mundorf was selected to play in this year's All-Star game, but was unavailable to play.

Chris Bocklet provided an assist to his one-time college teammate, Steele Stanwick, to score a goal in the first three minutes of the first quarter of the game. During the beginning of the second quarter, Drew Snider drove through the Supernova defense and put a shot past his Denver teammate Jesse Schwartzman.

The enthusiastic crowd of approximately 6,000 fans was treated to plenty of halftime entertainment when a number of players participated in the MLL Skills Competition at halftime. There was a Freestyle Competition for players to show off some of their sweet moves with the stick. Jeremy Sieverts competed in the Fastest Shot Contest and Jesse Schwartzman won the Long Distance Accuracy Contest in the event’s first ever installment.

As the third quarter proceeded, Sieverts scored an unassisted goal during the Eclipse six goal streak against Supernova. Nearing the end of the quarter, Chris Bocklet scored for the Supernova team by an assist from Steele Stanwick. Fourth quarter proved the urgency and excitement of the game with Zack Greer scoring within the first 30 seconds of the quarter by an assist from his fellow Outlaws teammate, Drew Snider. During the nine goal streak of Supernova, Chris Bocklet, assisted from Steele Stanwick, again scored during the last minutes of the quarter. However, Jeremy Sieverts put an end to that run by making the last scoring shot on goal while the game came to an end.

Other than the final quarter, it was a tight, highly competitive contest that featured great play from both sides. The concluding score was Supernova- 24, Eclipse- 15. The second half was entertaining due to the six goal streak of the Eclipse in the third quarter and the nine goal streak of Supernova in the fourth quarter; which ultimately sealed the win for Supernova. Although some of the Outlaws teammates were rivals for the All-Star game, each one of the players selected for this All-Star game had a successful and sensational game.

Schwartzman commented on the 2013 MLL All-Star game, "It's an honor to be out here in Charlotte with everyone, all the All-Stars. It's big honor and the city of Charlotte was great. The fans were awesome. The first ever Long Distance Accuracy was really fun. I'm glad I got to be a part of it and win. I want to thank my stick stringer Drew Snider for helping me out there. All in all, it was a good win for team Supernova out here."
